Ville is President of Astralis, where he leads funder relationships. He is also on the Board of FROS Foundation and runs a Swedish family office. Previously, he co-founded SteadRise (formerly Impact Academy), which prepares young talent to address catastrophic risks and served on the board of various non-profits. Ville studied law, developmental economics, and sustainability at Uppsala University and Cornell University.

Jona provides strategic counsel on AI safety to key decision-makers while serving as CEO of Astralis and cFactual. Overall, he has led over 20 strategic initiatives focused on AI safety and high-impact philanthropy. He also serves on the Board of Longview Philanthropy. Previously, he was a consultant at BCG during which he founded Consultants for Impact. Jona studied organizational psychology at the University of Vienna.

Paige specializes in nonprofit operations and organizational leadership, currently serving as Director of Operations at Astralis. She previously held senior roles as Chief of Staff at GiveWell and Director of Operations at Coefficient Giving (formerly Open Philanthropy). Paige holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Yale University.

Julian is Head of AI Strategy at Astralis, where he works on grantmaking strategy, prioritisation, and processes. Previously, he was a grantmaker on the AI governance and policy team at Coefficient Giving (formerly Open Philanthropy) and a research assistant at the Centre for the Governance of AI. Julian holds a BA in Economics from McGill University and an MSc in Social Science of the Internet from the University of Oxford.

Dominika is Head of People Operations at Astralis. In her role, Dominika focuses on building people-first systems that support staff and help the organization thrive. Before joining Astralis, she worked as Senior People and Culture Manager at Rethink Priorities. Dominika holds a PhD in Security Studies from the War Studies University of Warsaw, Poland. 

Jason Zhou is an Asia Program Officer at the Astralis Foundation, where he leads the organization's grantmaking to support AI safety and governance efforts in the region. Jason previously worked as a Senior Research Manager at Concordia AI, leading their publications on China's AI safety ecosystem. Jason received an MA in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University as a Schwarzman Scholar, and received a BA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.

Henri joins Astralis having worked as a Development Officer at Rethink Priorities and served on Impact Academy's board. He previously founded two Nordic organizations: Bigheart, an app enabling charitable giving through ad revenue, and Ge Effektivt, a nonprofit advising on effective donations, where he serves as Board Chairman. Henri holds a degree in International Economics from Bocconi University.

Harriet is our Operations Manager. Before joining the team, she worked in operations at the Institute for Law and AI and the Center on Long-term Risk. She studied Music at the University of Cambridge and Mandarin Chinese at Tianjin Normal University, China.

Nat brings experience in research and writing, including work with The Cricketer and The Times. A graduate of Durham University, he holds a first-class Philosophy degree and was a research intern at The Office of David Cameron.
